Re: The Friends of Our Enemies...
A few of the people stepped closer, examining Arkenfel and listening as one of the English-speakers translated roughly what he was saying. Khovakaa seemed as if she wanted to hear more.

He chuckled seeing she wanted to know more and he nodded "We know not everything about this demon but what we do know, we will share. This demon was considered a chief of all the devils, and was a leader of the Sons of Darkness, a powerful demon faction. He and his minions and soldiers and equals wielded weapons and wore armor made from their fallen enemies bones, enchanted to be strong as any steel could be. We share this power now, along with the power to summon his, now our, twelve hell hounds. He was a demon of strictly shadow, fire ,death and bones he had no remorse and ,excluding for our own people, nor do we now. He is one with us, we are one with him. Though neither of us wishes for it."

Re: The Friends of Our Enemies...
An'Khoroth and Khovakaa exchanged glances and spoke quickly amongst each other.
"He should see the Seer..."
Khovakaa took Arkenfel by the arm and led him away from the crowd as they continued to feast at the altar.
"Tell me, Demon-Child, how did you join together?"

Arkenfel let him be led away and he sighed "We used to be a summoner of high honor with in Atrum Veneficus and we got cocky. We tried to summon and control him but he merged with us instead, and our will being incredibly strong he could not take over our body and mind or spirit. We became....We. It has been a burden and yet a blessing, the power is immense and we revel in it." He smirked "Blood and Violence feed us now."

"The name of your demon...tell us..."
An'Khoroth watched carefully, studying Arkenfel as if he was suddenly of much greater interest to him.

"The demon's name is Dek'za the Shadow Lord. We also called him Aren'fel, he has never made clear which he prefers." Arkenfel shrugged and kept following.

"Everything you know," Khovakaa interrupted, "tell us...it is important."
She stared intently into Arkenfel's eyes, as if piercing through his very soul to grasp at the words. She wanted to understand, because this strange outsider had become a token of immense interest.

He shrugged "We actually dont know much about this demon. Only the powers he gives, the complete and total control and mastery of the summoning arts and death arts of night magik."

Khovakaa was about to ask more, but An'Khoroth spoke over her.
"Show us more."

He sighed "We cant show you the death magik unless you having something for us to kill, but the summoning we can show you if you would like us too."

An'Khoroth and Khovakaa exchanged glances.
"The prisoners, Khovakaa."
Khovakaa's lips snarled up into a wicked smile and she led Arkenfel and An'Khoroth further out, away from the village, and back into the swamp.
"Come, come..."
She sifted through thick, slimy swamp vines and murky water, deeper and deeper into the dark forest.

Re: The Friends of Our Enemies...
Arkenfel was led through the swamp, into a small, murky grove of hanging, ghastly willow trees. From the highest branches of the trees, Arkenfel might notice what looked like wooden cages made of stretched, domed branches and reinforced with wrapped leather and sinew bindings. It looked like there were human figures contained in the cages - about a dozen in all. Once they got closer, they could see that there were people - definitely not people of Navokha - most likely Tryscarians.
Some were suspended high off of the ground and others were dunked into the mucky swamp water. The cages barely gave any room for the prisoners to move, and most of them were squeezed into tight, uncomfortable positions. Most of them looked like they were wounded and bleeding, and some of them screamed in fury, some cried, and some remained silent and motionless as their captors approached.
"Yes...look at my pretty little butterflies in jars...aren't they so pretty?" Khovakaa snickered.

Re: The Friends of Our Enemies...
Arkenfel saw the prisoners and smiled, they were being held the same way he would hold Lux Lucis prisoners in his caves on old Atrum. He looked around the cages and he said to her "We admire the way you treat them, they are quite pretty to look at" He smirked a toothy smile and began to look around, try to find a larger specimen to kill with a spell "We are trying to find one of them to truly demonstrate our power on...Can you point us to a larger specimen?"
His hands were already glowing black, covered slightly in a small amount of black fire.
