Slaves Freed

She stared a bit while her smile was happier than ever, she examined his entire face and noticed that he was young but had dealt with more than his share of pain in his lifetime.
"I knew there was nothing to hide!" she said very excited that he agreed to show her. "You're eyes are like the lightning in a storm and your hair like starlight, soooo prettyyy! Where did you get that scar though?"

He looked to the side hiding any small amount of blushing he thought he might get and he said "Im a man, im not pretty. Understood? And...i got it....from my step father. After my father died my mother remarried an abusive bastard." She could tell he never talked to anyone about this before. He waited for a response then said "We should...go and listen."

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked should I? I'm a terrible servant," she said in a saddened voice. "Uh, We should go listen hm?" she smiled up at him again and walked a pace and a half behind him, as was her place as his servant. Her pace seemed to be less enthusiastic but she managed to hide her regret for asking him about his painful past.

Arrakhesh gestured again for silence, and the crowd hushed. This was so much less formal than most other national events that it seemed more like a teacher or a mentor addressing his students and peers than the leader of a nation addressing his followers and subjects.

"People of Kyanon, and our honorable guests from Atrum Veneficus - today is a glorious day. It is a bloody day, and an honorable day. We celebrate that some of the people of our nation have broken free of the claws of slavery, as they were held down by cowardly tyrants and oppressors who battle not with honor and spirit, but with malice, greed, and cowardice. Our people shall never be degraded as being 'lesser' than any other nation; I will not stand for it. Let us not rest here with the recovery of our people - although I invite you all home with open arms, we will not forget that there are others still awaiting the time when the honor and glory of Kyanon will prevail to reach out to them and bring them all home safely. I welcome you here, to New Kyanon, and to the city of Ky'Kabrion. My people - our brothers and sisters, our mothers and fathers, our sons and daughters - you are home now."

The audience clapped and cheered. A few soldiers had to step forward to keep a secure perimeter around Arrakhesh as he finished his speech and was applauded by his people.

Azero applauded just like the rest not speking until after the speech was done but he looked at her and pointed to the ground next to hime "You may think your my servant, but you do NOT stand behind me understand? You are not lesser than me. You stand..beside me." He said this and nodded again "No, its fine. I was just a question about past long behind me. I no longer care about this scar nor how i got it." He was lying, that scar and his step father had shaped his life.

Sorac nodded his approval and clapped along with everyone else. He was proud of Arrakhesh, being thrust into this position didnt seem to phase him in the least. He was ready to lead and thatmade Sorac believe that finally kyanon was safer. He said in a voice loud enough people would hear but not in a shout "Honor and glory to Kyanon."

Arrakhesh repeated again, "Honor and glory to Kyanon!" and every single Kyanite in the crowd shouted it out, echoing their leader, and the city of Ky'Kabrion was filled with their fearless battlecry. Within a few minutes, the crowd started to disperse as Arrakhesh walked back over to Sorac and towards the capitol building.

"Tell me, Honorable Lord, have you come to stay in Kyanon for awhile or do you have matters to attend to back home?"

Kesu smiled warmly at him and stepped up to where he had pointed, she still felt bad that she had asked of his past without permission and she could tell he was lying when he said it didn't bother him but she didn't mention it.
"Yes Master Azeero," she said with her child-like accented ending. "As you wish teehee." she began swaying from side to side again, acting as if nothing had bothered her.

Sorac nodded saying "Perhaps tonight is all. I have things to attend to in atrum and in Imuabu. When i get back i plan on sending a message to Arian, when do you think a conference could be arranaged?"

Azero did pull his mask back on now making sure no on else saw him but he let the small smile show through and it was directed toward her, it was reserved but it was the first time he had smiled in a long while. He was growing to like this tag along he had picked up.

"Very well then, Honorable Lord. As you wish." Arrakhesh gave one of his guards orders to arrange for bedrooms for Sorac and everyone who would stay with him in the capitol building. "I would be available for a conference immediately, whenever we can arrange for the Honorable Empress Reia and her advisors to attend. I'll send a message to Arian soon. Perhaps we can arrange it quite soon, since it's in all of our best interests to meet."

She noticed Azero smiling and she smile even more warmly back at him. She was still full of energy and was moving around a lot and some Kyanites may notice her hyper and cheerful attitude during a saddened time when their loved ones had not returned.
"You can smile," she said happily, she'd done something right because that was the first time she had see his smile. "I'm so glad you're happy Master Azeeero."

Azero nodded "Its hard to not smile when your so happy and hyper and giddy." he would sound kind of annoyed like usual but it was different. Almost embaressed.

Sorac nodded "A meeting would benefit us all. The three of our nations are small and many nations here seem to hostile. Need all the friends we can get." He would smile at Arrkhesh and extend his hand in a traditional kyanite handshake/fist bump.

A Kyanite woman who had just been sorting through the crowd, looking for a lost loved one with no results, seemed deeply furious and angry. She began pushing her way through the crowd, snarling fiercely at anyone that got in her way as she scoured for any chance of finding whoever it was she was looking for.

"Get the hell out of my way, you worthless pieces of shit."

A few people bumped into her, and she shoved her way through them. Security hadn't noticed her yet, and she got more and more angry as she realized that they hadn't brought home whoever it was she was looking for. The woman continued barging through the crowd, and she shoved Kesu aside to try and get past her and keep looking.

Meanwhile, Arrakhesh led Sorac up the front steps of the capitol building once more, looking out over the city. "Indeed, we do." Arrakhesh smiled to himself as he returned Sorac's gesture. I would give you a tour of Ky'Kabrion, Honorable Lord, but you can already see most of the interesting areas of our new city from here."

Azero quickly caught kesu making sure she didnt fall and gave the kyanite woman a angry glare, his eyes slightly darker "People should watch where their stomping" he said slightly loud as he made sure kesu was ok.

Sorac chuckled a nodded "Its not a problem. Im assuming much of it looks like this." He gestured to the area around where he could see. "Atrum is in much the same state right now, with incarna aid its getting better quickly though."

The woman scoffed angrily. "Fuck off, Atrumite. None of your kind has any place here. Don't even speak to me, you fucking scum. People like you are the reason why we're in this mess."

She stomped off into the crowd, causing more of a ruckus. She made a few more colorful comments, causing quite a stir amongst the crowd until security had to forcefully escort her out. By this time, though, there were more than a few arguments erupting amongst the Kyanites, and the proud gathering was on the border of becoming a violent ghetto brawl. Most of the comments seemed to be directed towards the presence of the Atrumites, whom many Kyanites had begun to blame for Kyanon's previous civil war and Lux's involvement in the genocide of Spero. Some Honor Guard soldiers quickly stepped in and started dispersing the trouble-makers, seperating them from the group. Some were sent home, and others were hauled off to be dealt with, but it seemed to be under control now.

In the midst of the minor upset, the crowd caught Arrakhesh's attention again. He looked down to see what the fuss was about...and someone else caught his eye. He saw someone that he thought looked all too familiar...

Azero would stand and appear infront of the woman with a glare like lightning before guards could get to her "You dare call me scum? I bring your people home now, the blood of ME and MY MEN could have been spilled bringing YOUR people home. I didnt see YOU out there fighting. So before you call me scum, look at yourself you Blood Hungry Kyanite."

Kesu was surprised that Azero had caught her and stood shocked for some time. Her happy attitude slowly fading as the women insulted her master, this infuriated her. She broke her silence in a loud roar of words directed at the women.

"How dare anyone speak to master Azero in such a way! You disgusting cur of a women, he was willing to give up his life for you people and this is how you treat him!?! You disgust me, I won't ever understand why my kind let you stay in THEIR lands," Kesu snarled at the women. She hadn't cared that she shoved her aside but to insult her master, the one that freed her and this women's people was unforgivable. People might notice a aura coming from around her, her eyes grew into a deep shade of red, black shadows of her beast form began swirling around her as if she were about to change.

Azero would see and quickly turn and say to her "Kesu calm down. its ok. I really dont care what these people think and neither would you if you saw what they used to be like on spero."

Before the woman had much of a chance to respond, an Honor Guard soldier stepped up to her. She resisted as he tried to cuff her, so he promptly forced her down, pinned her to the ground, and then another soldier rushed over and tazed her for a brief second. Once she was unable to resist, the Honor Guard proceeded to cuff her and haul her off along with the others. The Honor Guard moved swiftly, and it was still clear that they tolerated absolutely no disobedience amongst the people of Kyanon.

Meanwhile, Arrakhesh watched intently. A woman carrying two small babies was trying to make her way out from the center of the crowd. He took a few steps closer to try and get a better look. She seemed so familiar.

She was of average height for a Kyanite women, perhaps slightly smaller than most, Her hair was medium length but was brushed back and neatly tucked into a bun at the base of her neck. Her cloths were tattered, but they seemed to be noble's clothing and not that of a civilian. She was young but one could tell by her face that she had been under a tremendous amount of stress and worry, she looked tired and worn down.
