At Cruor's Gates

The atrumites look over at tryscar, knowing who they are and hate fills thier eyes. Karos thinks to himself "slaver scum bags." Arkenfel voices this opinion to himself and neos, hoping no one would here "We hate those men. We may like to kill, that just releases one's soul. they...they take pleasure in breaking it."

Six tall, dark-skinned, athletically built people make their way towards the gates. Although few of the other nations would recognize them, they held themselves with an unmatchable sense of pride, strength, and determination even in this unfamiliar setting. A woman and two other male competitors were escorted by two elite guards and a finely dressed Sheikh Amotarrhi, and it would be unlikely that they would be recognized by any of the foreigners even though the woman - apparently at least a General - bore some of the highest-ranking and most prestiged scarification markings of the entire nation across her body. They spoke amongst themselves, quietly greeting any Atrumites or Arianites that they saw, but mostly keeping to themselves amongst these strange foreigners.

The Atrumites would look at the kyanites and greet them with sad smiles and nods. Karos looked at them and the look told them he would make sure he got them out of their chains as soon as he could. Arkenfel would see Akhmar and stand up, he wanted to free the man now, he was a warrior worthy of his freedom. But he held himself back and sat down nodding a hello at the man.

Tatkret glared at the Tryscar sponsors as they arrived, his pride could never allowed him to be friendly with such people. As an Amarok he could not look at them with disdain. He would approach Arkenfel and Neos, having overheard him, and comment about their trade.

"They are disgusting creatures, not fit to be called human," he paused. "They take innocent life and break it down to be submissive and weak. They seem to pride themselves on taking woman of our kind and forcing them to have relations with strangers, what a revolting sight."

Neos would nod "Disgusting indeed, any group of people who enslaves and takes away ones natural right to be free doesnt deserve that right themselves. How would they like it in shackles." He spat at the ground as tryscar walked past them. Arknfel nodded anger on his face.

Arkenfel: We hate them. Any one who takes a free man and puts him in chains...doesnt not have our respect. Breaking ones spirit, is worse than death." He followed Neos example and did the same.

Reia looked saddened by Karos's words.

"Please don't apologize for the actions of my people. You did all you could, you're not like us, we have higher senses for such things and only Lord Shiranai was able to pick up on it."

Karos nodded "Well, thats true. I saved you, and thats really what matters isnt it."

Tatkret nodded in agreement with Arkenfel and Neos.

"I agree, breaking one's spirit is death while living. You're in an eternal hell, unable to free yourself," he stopped and noticed the Shilain slave Tryscar had brought with them. "And they call us 'beasts'"

Neos pointed at the men in suits "Them, they are the real beasts"

Reia nodded and smiled.

"Yes, I'm glad you were here to help me. I don't know what would have happened if you hadn't been here." Reia thought about hugging Karos but decided that it was too forward of her. instead she placed her hand on his shoulder and smiled warmly at him before turning to catch up with Arkenfel and Neos and her people.

When Tryscar came in, Jamila and Amun glared at them, finally showing hatred and some form of hostile. They hated what they were doing to their people. Using them as slaves.

"They better not dare come over here," Amun snared. "I won't hold back..."

"Me too... but we need to save our strength Amun," Jamila said.

"I don't care... I'll do anything to help our fellow people they've taken into slavery."

He would smile back and then blush a bit and say gently grabbing her hand "Reia..." he brought her into a hug "Im really glad your alright..."

Reia was shocked for a moment and pulled back slightly. After she realized what he was doing she hugged him back and smiled.

"I'm glad it was you who saved me. I really am." She wanted to tell him many other things but couldn't summon the courage to do so. She just hugged him tightly and frowned a little that she could not bring herself to say the words she wanted.

Tryscar seemed to be used to being looked down upon for their acts of slavery, but as they saw it, it was simply a way of life and a form of advancement. It seemed as if most of the other, "less advanced" nations looked down on them for it, but they remained unphased by it. They stood and waited for their hosts to arrive and greet them. The representative Landon Karrsonn would politely and formally try to strike up a conversation with one of the participants from the Imperium.

"There are a lot of newcomers here. Seems they all look a bit spiteful towards us. Don't you think?"

Tylen smirked and cynically chipped in. "They just don't get it. They never will. They can't understand that we are the more advanced nations here..."

Landon calmly shook his head. "Let's give them a chance, first."

The female Kyanite general seemed to recognize some of the Atrumites. She walked over, leaving the rest of her group behind, and stood in front of Neos and Arkenfel, offering them a salute.

"Honorable people of Atrum - General Neos and Ambassador Arkenfel, is it? - it's good to see you here. We haven't met yet. I am the Honorable Blacksnake-General Tyrah Sakh'Vesh of Kyanon. I offer you greetings from my people."

The two battle units nodded at them and 116 spoke 037 not responding much "Yes, inferior groups trying to seems...on par. Though slavery is...inefficient, there is no reason to have such..disdain over it." This was her attempt at emotion.

Neos and arkenfel both gave this great warrior a honorable atrum salute and nodded smiling.

Neos: Correct, well, im Lord General now. Due to all the death's i was one of the only left.

Arkenfel noded "Us too, and im in charge of the night walker teams.

Arkfenel would say low to her to no one would over hear "Night walker forces are freeing slaves when ever possible and brining an kyanites to Arrakhesh. Hopefully we will be able to free all of you soon."


Karos would smile at her and nod, knowing she wanted to say something but couldnt, the way he looked at her and the way he smiled let her know he could wait till she could. He was shy, he didnt think she would like him. An empress falling for a failure of a prince? he cant even control his own magik. No way he thought to himself, but he would hold onto this as long as he could. He would chuckle "What would you do without me huh?" he was joking of course. He blushed realizing he was still holding her and he would let her go if she wanted.

Amun couldn't take it anymore. Just being in the same room as the Tryscar ticked him off. He trudged on over to the group and Jamila's eyes grew wide. She reached for him arm to pull him back, but he was too quick. She hurried behind him.

"Amun!" Jamila called out to him. "Don't!"

"I gotta settle this," Amun spat out, not stopping for anything. "I can't just stand here, being in the same room as them when I know they're enslaving people. They... they took my brother..."

"I know... but-"

Jamila couldn't finish what she was saying. They had aready reached the Tryscar group. Amun stared at them with much hatred. He was trying everything he could to hold back from fighting these guys. He wasn't sure how long that would last though.

"You've got some nerve showing your face here," Amun said hateful with a glare, "when you know what you're doing... Enslaving people.... it's sickening..."

Jamila sighed. She knew this wasn't going to go well.

Tyrah nodded at Arkenfel. "Many thanks to you and your people. We are doing what we can as well."

She glanced over towards what seemed to be a fight brewing. She quietly gestured for her guards, and directed their attention towards the situation in case anything might go wrong.

The people of Tryscar saw Amun approach. They paid little attention to him, and most of the high-ranking and important-looking executives and businessmen simply brushed him off. Some of them completely ignored him and resumed their conversation, as if they had no interest in what he had to say.

Tylen chuckled. "We're perfectly in line with the regulations of this competition. I don't have the slightest idea what you mean." Of course, he knew exactly what Amun meant, but he simply didn't care.

Karos saw what was happening and sighed "crap" Neos and Arkenfel did too and moved a bit closer to get ready to intervene if need be. This was not a good way to have everyone enter... old grudges resurface and new ones appear.

Tatkret moved silently behind the one called Amun and waited. He knew someone was going to stir the emotions he himself knew very well and had a great deal of struggle holding back himself. He wouldn't allow anyone from Tryscar to harm him for his actions.

Amun was oblivious to the guards and people from the Atrum and Tatkret moving close to him. Jamila noticed and was looking at them, hoping they'll help. She always had trouble calming Amun down when he was like this.

Amun fists clentched and his voice was almost like a snarl. "You know very well what I mean... What you're doing is wrong... You should just give all the people you captured back to their homes!" His heart rate was increasing and so was his breathing. "Just... I... I just..... I JUST WANT MY BROTHER BACK!" He made an attempt to punch Tylen... unless someone stopped him.

Karos blinked in front and grabbed his fist in mid punch "SAVE IT FOR THE GAMES!" he pushed him back "We aren't here to fight like this. Beleive me" He looked at tryscar "they will pay for taking people fro their homes." he sighed and looked back as Amun "But not today."

Amun was surprised by how from Karos appeared and then caught himself when he was pushed back. His jaw and fists clenched. He didnt' want to back down. He was trying as hard as he could to hold in any emotion other than hatred.

With teeth still together he said, "Fine..." And walked away.

Jamila watched him and looked at Karos and everyone else who was there to help. "I'm sorry... he's just... hard to control when he gets like this..." She hurried away from the scene and went where Amun was. He was leaning against a wall and she tried everything she could think of to say to calm him.
