Navokha Removal Act Empty Navokha Removal Act

Post  New USSR Sun Nov 13, 2011 7:39 pm

A law was passed in USSR that all Navokha were to be removed from any land claimed by the USSR including land recently claimed for an outpost. An massive armored troops carrier drove through a forest ripping and tearing tree's down and apart as a voice yelled out from a speaker "All Navokah are to vacate the premises this land is USSR claimed territoy you are to be relocated to land better suited to you."

A small settlement of people of Navokha who had been taken as slaves and shipped across the continent had escaped near the newly claimed USSR outpost. With no indication that this land was claimed by the USSR, they escaped into the nearest forest the could find, on the western shore of Elysium by the border of Tryscar. They had lived there for several months, establishing a a small, discreet settlement in the center of the forest, bordered by a lake and the mountains across the shoreline.

Navokha scouts had spotted the incoming vehicle as it made its way into the forest, and the people were prepared for an attack. The women and children were all moved to the safety of the settlement, and every able-bodied man was sent out to repel the attack.

An ambush was staged in the forest, just deep enough that the vehicle would not be able to turn and escape easily, and far enough away from the settlement that the troops of the New USSR would not be able to locate it easily through the woods. Silent and unseen, the Navokha warriors moved into position, ready to enact their ambush.

The USSR troop carrier didnt look like it had any weapons out right but it was piled inside with soldiers who would defend the vehicle at all costs. The message played over and over as the vehicle progressed through the forest.

The Navokha warriors knew they had one shot to inflict as much damage as possible. As the vehicle rolled through the forest, it went straight into the trap.

A hidden tripwire was snapped and triggered as the vehicle rolled through it. It was connected to an intricate array of wooden ground supports just under the surface which collapsed the area that the heavy vehicle was on, sending the earth beaneath it crumbling down into a ditch lined with dozens of large spikes made of sharpened wood, stones, and bones - anything that could inflict damage on the treads or undercarriage of the vehicle, or to any soldiers trying to climb out. There was no place to stand inside the pit, since it was lined so densely with spikes.

The forest was suddenly filled with shrill battle-cries, as if an entire choir of screaming ghosts and beasts had descended on the New USSR. Warriors rushed forward from the trees, immediately surrounding the pit and brandishing spears, knives, spiked war clubs, and javelins made of bone and wood. Most of them had no physical protection, as they were wearing only rugged leather armor or loincloths and adorned with body paints and piercings. They shouted fearlessly, as if they were daring any of the warriors to step out and face them.

The ditch, which was dug about fifteen feet down and fifteen feet wide on all sides, was designed to immobilize the vehicle and leave the soldiers unable to escape up the sloped dirt edges or through the spikes. If the vehicle was powerful enough and if its treads withstood the spikes lining the bottom, it would be able to work its way up the angled slope of the side and drive out, but it would at least buy the Navokha some time.

The warriors of Navokha weren't about to let the vehicle out of the ditch - they knew that it would mean the soldiers could then unload from the vehicle, and their people would all be gunned down or captured.

Two average-sized trees on opposite sides of the ditch, which had been rigged by the warriors, were sent toppling down towards the front of the ditch as the warriors cut the ropes supporting them. They were aimed to either strike the top of the vehicle or block it from getting out. As soon as the trees came down, more warriors came running out of the treeline towards the back of the ditch, carrying torches and flaming pieces of wood. They hurled them down into the pit, setting alight pieces of kindling that were strewn about the bottom of the ditch. The fire began to take hold, spreading across the firewood and the wooden skewers spiking up through the ground.

The trees would hit the top of the vehicle and send it back a bit but it would easily crush the trees when going back up but the fire heated the treads up damaging them further, the APC was moving incredibly slowly getting up the hill. Reinforcements were on the way but trying to delay the navokha from attack again a voice boomed from the apc speakers "Cease and Desist this attack! We are not here to enslave nor harm you! we want to help you move to a land more suited to your people! This land belong to the USSR"

The warriors were incredibly distrustful of outsiders - they knew that they wouldn't send armored vehicles with soldiers in them just to "relocate" the Navokha, and they had no intentions of returning them to their homes. They knew that they would be driven from the forest eventually, but they had already decided to do so on their own time, and without putting their own people at risk.

Meanwhile, at the village, the Navokha families already had an escape plan. Only a few warriors remained to protect them. A messenger ran into the village to alert them that the New USSR was still approaching, and wouldn't surrender. All the women and children were gathered while the warriors went to the back of the camp. There, parked near the thick brush, were several of the damaged vehicles that the Navokha had been transported with when they were captured by Tryscar and brought near this place. Some of the vehicles were damaged or lost when the Navokha revolted and slaughtered their captors, but some of them were still running or salvageable. Heavy wooden cages suspended above the ground held the Navokha's Tryscarian captives - people who knew how to operate these vehicles who could drive them to safety. The warriors brought them down, holding knives tightly to their throats, and got them into the vehicles while they loaded their families and most valuable supplies. They had no choice but to prepare to leave while their warriors held off the incoming soldiers.

The heavy armor was moving fast, a group moving toward the APC and one going in the direction they thought the camp was in. The heavy armor they were sending were large four legged spider like tanks with 4 rapid fire machine turrets and one main gauss cannon. The shock troopers arrived on the scene and aimed at the warrior "CEASE AND DESIST OR WE WILL OPEN FIRE"

As soon as the scouts spotted the reinforcements, they alerted the warriors and most of them immediately disappeared into the forest. The scouts were already headed back towards the camp, and the warriors were regrouping to intercept the other group moving towards the village.

At the village, the captive Tryscarians were forced into the shipping vehicles at knife-point. All the women and children were in, and a group of the warriors from the village stayed by them to protect them. Once all the vehicles but one were fully loaded, they prepared to pull out at a moment's notice. The Navokha families anxiously awaited their warriors to come back and join them so they could all leave together, and they had no idea that they were still in danger.

The settlement was very well-hidden, and since the Navokha knew the forest much better by now, the warriors had a good chance of making it back before the heavy armor was able to find it.

The Shock troopers advanced and using a plasma cutter they opened up the apc and got the troops out, they didnt bother with the apc it could be salvaged later. The troops advanced with the shock troopers now trying to get to the warriors ahead of the heavy armor, as the other group of heavy armor closed in on the position the camp was presumed to be in.

The warriors regrouped and moved into position in front of the settlement. A messenger was sent ahead to the supply vehicles - he told them to leave the village, that there was no time left for them if they didn't go now. They had no choice but to leave the warriors behind. The supply vehicles started rolling out of the forest, weaving through the trees and the thick brush, and heading towards the eastern edge of the woods.

The now large group of soldiers and shock troopers made their way close to where the warriors had re grouped when they arrived they got into postition and raised their guns "cease an desist all resistance, and we will simply relocate you. No one needs to die." They radioed for the heavy armor to engage hover mode and move faster to catch up to the other navokha and this group of warriors. The heavy armor squadrons did as instructed

The warriors held the soldiers off for as long as they could, distracting them from going towards the other Navokha as much as possible. They acted as if they didn't understand what the soldiers were saying, and although they made no attempt to attack them straight-on, they didn't drop their weapons. They spoke quietly amongst themselves, although none of the people of the New USSR would be able to understand them.

The transport vehicles reached the edge of the forest quickly and sped off across the grasslands to the south of Tryscar. They had a head-start on the USSR armored vehicles, and were smaller which allowed them to move through the forest more quickly.

The USSR soldiers in formation would begin firing all at once without warning on the Navokha. The soldiers carried standard rail based weapons while the shock troops carried lazer repeaters and plasma launchers that fire bursts of it at the Navokha. They would more than likely be gunned down quickly not because of the better weaponry but because no other warning was given, no chance to relocate. They were now being slaughtered.

The heavy armor would sped to the village and would then turn and try and follow the smaller vehicles. They would crash through the many trees and tall brush to get to them, as soon as they saw the vehicles that would use the smaller turrets to try and stop the vehicles.

As soon as the first shots were fired, the Navokha went into a bloodthirsty rage and shrieking battle-cries filled the woods. Although most of the warriors were gunned down, something happened that the soldiers wouldn't anticipate.

The sky above the forest suddenly turned dark with arcing arrows gliding down at the New USSR soldiers. Dozens of archers hidden in the trees began firing on the soldiers, raining down arrows rapidly. Javelins streaked through the sky and in between the trees, aimed directly at the soldiers. Although they were made of crude materials, the quantity and force with which the stone arrows and wooden spears were delivered would likely take down some of the New USSR although most of the warriors standing in front of them were killed.

A hidden group of warriors on horseback advanced from the forest as soon as they saw the heavy armor chasing down the Navokha transport vehicles. Although they weren't as fast, they kept up well enough to stay within range and hopefully out of sight. They fired arrows, javelins, and throwing axes from horseback, aiming to take down the gunners or incapacitate their turrets. If possible, they'd also try to disable the legs of the vehicles, although their weapons would probably be less effective.

The Tryscarian captives in the transport vehicles were also forced to operate the small turrets on top of the transport vehicles. Held at knifepoint, they had no option other than to fire back at the approaching New USSR. The mounted turrets on the transport vehicles were mostly designed for personnel incapacitation, but they would hopefully buy the Navokha a bit more time to get further ahead.

As soon as the arrows began to rain down a few of the soldiers went down but not many other of the soldiers did, many kept the heat on the men in front of them but the other began firing into trees and shooting at their hidden assailants. The plasma launchers might burn through and destroy trees.

The Heavy armor unit would see the horses coming and begin bombarding them with fire from 2 of the four turrets of 50 cal. explosive rounds, there are 3 tanks in each unit, the other two turrets begin firing on the transports in front of them as their main cannons charge and prepare to fire.

The scene quickly shifted into a massacre. If this had been an established Navokha settlement that was prepared for war, the New USSR soldiers might not have been so lucky - but this was just a refugee settlement. They had no means to defend themselves, and they were vastly overpowered.

The remaining warriors refused to die without a fight, and they charged forward at their adversaries, fearlessly facing them head-on with nothing but their crude weapons and what they could salvage from the battlefield. They fought brutally, ripping and tearing like fierce, vicious animals at their enemies even though they knew it was only a matter of time before they would be gunned down. If they were able to disarm any New USSR soldiers and take them captive into the forest, they would at least try to take some of them as prisoners.

The warriors trying to save their people on horseback were no match for the firepower of the New USSR tanks. They had no protection, and were gunned down quickly without any chance to resist. The transport vehicles sped ahead, although it was unlikely that a few of them wouldn't fall prey to the New USSR's attack. One or two of the vehicles had the chance to get out of range and line of sight, but most of the Navokha were helpless against the New USSR and would soon be killed or captured.

The USSR continued to shoot at the defenseless Navokha and wouldnt feel any remorse, nor guilt over what they were doing. The fools stood up them, so they will be mowed down like a stalk of grass and the harvesters sickle.

Once the navokha charged them the soldiers feel back abit and kept shooting while the bulking yet still fast shock troopers fought back with metal clad fists. The would eb able to break and shatter skulls without much trouble and would aim for heads to destroy their enemy as fast as possible while keeping the soldiers safe from capture whil their bullets rained down on the defenseless desperate navokha.

The tanks would quickly finish up with the horse men and take down as many of the transports as possible, they would let one or two escape then circle the ones left and deploy legs and aim all guns at their enemies playing this messages "Cease and desist, you will be relocated. Do not leave the vehicle."

The other heavy armor detachment would arrive and help mop up and resistance in the forest.

The Navokha had no chance. They were completely secluded from their people with no equipment, and they were easy prey for the well-equipped New USSR. Most of the warriors and the people were slaughtered quickly.

The transport vehicles were trapped with nowhere to go. They were forced to pull over, and after a few moments, the doors to the transports opened and people started to step out. Women and children huddled together, with the very few warriors remaining trying to shield their families. Mothers held screaming babies and young siblings tried to comfort each other. Two Tryscarians exited both vehicles, still held at knifepoint by warriors. The Navokha were speaking amongst themselves, some of them whispering and others shouting, in a different language that the people of New USSR would not understand. The captive Tryscarians pleaded for help as they were held hostage.

The shock troopers and soldiers quikcly finished off any warriors left, none were left alive. None at all. They called in to base "Fall back order 66 completely. Orders sir?"

Two H.K.G.B soldiers in full nano kinetic suits of armor, they would walk forward calmly grab the knives they were holding to the throats of the tryscarians and pull them out to safety, they would be given guns and which side of the Navokah to cover.

The four Tryscarians escaped as quickly as possible, moving away from them.

One of them looked at the gun he was given. "No...no, I'm not going to shoot anyone...I'm just a driver..."

One of the KGB would look at them and nod "You wont need to, if they are at all smart. Get where we tell you and aim."

Soldiers would walk up to the warriors and force them from the group another message would play from a tank "Warriors will be identified and moved seprately" When they were taken away into the woods, plasma rounds might be heard. Along with thumps as dead bodies hit the ground.

Navokha Removal Act Empty Re: Navokha Removal Act

Post  Navokha Fri Nov 25, 2011 1:56 am

Some of the warriors tried to stay with their families, while others went willingly - they hoped that if they complied, they would survive. Others knew what was happening before they were pulled away and tried to warn their people, to no avail. One man stayed as long as he could as his crying wife desperately clung to him, sobbing as she held a tiny baby in her arms. She wailed uncontrollably and fell to her knees, weeping hysterically as her warrior was pulled away from her.

As the warriors were led off into the woods, one of them pulled away from his captor for a split second and pulled a stone knife from his sash as soon as the first plasma round went off. In a thick, harsh accent, he shouted.

"They are shooting us! You will not have me, you dogs!" Before the soldiers had a chance to react, the man plunged the knife into his own throat and dropped to the ground bleeding profusely. He would rather take his own life than submit to the soldiers. Every single one of the remaining warriors resisted, drawing the few meager weapons they had as they desperately and violently attacked their captors.

The women and children panicked now more than ever. A woman stepped forward from the center. Her leather robes were tattered and dirty, drenched in blood, and her stringy, tangled hair nearly reached down to her waist. She spoke to the soldiers surrounding her people very quietly, almost in a whisper, with her hands raised slightly and outstretched to her sides. She hung her head low, covering her face.

"War is on the horizon. Snakes coil through your bones and my people will see them eat your heart and spit your blood...rats are in your skulls and my people will see them gnaw through your flesh from the inside..."
